Requirements
- Persistence scope — the log-backed canonical residence is opt-in (enableLogBacking, fail-closed default off) and its live read loop requires builds that emit the session/pin event (the upstream session.setPinned RPC)
- on baselines without it, pins and colors fall back to the session-pin settings namespace, then to browser-local localStorage.
