Key features

• Zero dependency server - directly read and write the vault file system without the need for Local REST API community plug-in or resident MCP server.
• Path out-of-bounds protection - all path parameters will be parsed and verified to fall within the vault root directory, and out-of-bounds (../ or absolute path escapes) will be rejected.
• Safe by default - deletion only moves notes into .trash/ (reversible), the path cannot go beyond the vault root directory, and .obsidian/ is never touched.
• Deletion is reversible - obsidian_delete only moves the note into the vault's .trash/ and never deletes it permanently.
• Don't touch .obsidian/ - Searching and listing exclude .obsidian/, .git/, .trash/ by default.
